Buffy Hopkins spent more than 25 years in hospitality and operations leadership, and over 20 years producing events and shaping guest experiences. In that time she watched the same quiet problem play out in restrooms everywhere — from hotels to venues to healthcare facilities: people make the disposal decision alone, inside the stall, and the right tool is almost never within reach.
The result is flushed products, blocked pipes, emergency plumbing calls and contaminated waterways — an estimated $1B+ in U.S. infrastructure damage every year, driven by a behavior nobody talks about.
Pretty Pipes is her answer. Buffy designed and engineered a wall-mounted system that places bag dispensing and private disposal exactly where the behavior happens, then built a recurring refill model so facilities can service it as a routine, not a chore. She holds two U.S. design patents on the system, with additional utility protection pending.
